The first email I recieved from Leann explained that she was in the market for a wedding photographer. Normal enough, right? But then she said she had seen a photo I had taken of Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria on my website and that pushed her to email me. She’s a huge Coheed and Cambria fan – which is awesome! We clicked immedietly when we met. Both Leann and Tyler have a super similar (if not the exact same) taste in music as my boyfriend and I. Our initial consultation was spent talking a bit about weddings and my work but a good part of it was spent taking about concerts. (It may have been the most fun consultation I’ve ever.)

I shot Leann and Tyler’s engagement photos earlier in the year and the session couldn’t have gone better. They were so comfortable in front of the camera and needed very little direction. I knew, based on their ease in front of the camera and their great musical tastes, that their wedding would be awesome.

I had never heard of West Overton before but I can easily say that it is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever seen. (If you’re looking for a location – I highly recommend it!) The atmosphere was perfect and everyone seemed to have an absolute blast.
