I find myself pushing to grow and learn so much this particular wedding off-season. Along with shooting various “for me” photo sets with fabulous volunteers, former clients and colleagues, I want to visit as many galleries as I can. It’s incredibly inspiring to stand before the art of another person, especially when that art was created in a medium other than photography.

On this day, I visited Wood Street Galleries in downtown Pittsburgh with two photographer friends, Kelsie Taylor and Mandy Fierens, to see the Power Pixels 2013 exhibit by Miguel Chevalier. It’s an absolutely brilliant interactive exhibit. I highly recommend visiting it if you’re in or near the Pittsburgh area before it moves along to it’s next home in April.
