Yesterday I met up with Brenna for a portrait session at Hartwood Acres. It was freeeeeezing. My fingers were so numb that when I came home and washed my hands, it felt as if I had grabbed a hot iron skillet from the stove. I give a lot of credit to Brenna for wearing thin layers throughout the entire shoot. She kept ducking into the bathroom which had it’s heater on blast to warm up every few minutes. Thank goodness for that heater or I think we would have had to leave much sooner than we did!
Brenna has the most vivid eyes of anyone I’ve ever met. We all know people with bright eyes – but her’s glow in a way I’ve never encountered before. She has the eyes that I wanted when I was younger and considered getting colored contacts for. (I don’t wear glasses, so to want contacts solely for the color was a big deal when I was younger.) What a lucky duck!
I have about 20 photos of her singing. (She has an amaaaazing voice, by the way.) It took a while, but finally she paused for long enough to get a couple of real shots! 😉
Near the end of the shoot, a friend came to visit and brought one of his absolutely adorable dogs, Riley.
