I was really excited when Heather first contacted me about this event. The way she described it sounded so dreamy! “It’s based on a Midnight in Paris, very old Paris. There will be flair bartenders and an apothecary bar.” I swooned and booked my hotel.
The entire night was just lovely as was the reason behind the gala; to raise money for the Hamot Health Foundation so that they can further fund the (already wonderful) things they’re doing in Erie. But I must say – my favorite part of the night was when the band began to play. It only took a few minutes for the floor to fill up with dancers of all ages.
From Heather of McBrier Events, “I was hired for by Hamot Health Foundation to provide coordination and management of the gala as well as the overall concept for the evening. This was my second year overseeing the event. This year, I decided to do a take on Midnight in Paris from the recent Woody Allen movie. I really liked the idea of going back in time to France. I came up with the idea of having an apothecary bar and French gardens, and then having the highlight be a candlelight dinner in the Hall of Mirrors (Versailles).
This is only a small group of the photos taken that night. Guests who attended the gala are invited to view the cock-tail hour and post-dinner dancing proofs here. You may just find a photo of yourself!
