Situated high on the top of a mountain in the Laurel Highlands, this luxury Pittsburgh estate wedding was full of love from start to finish.
Just before the ceremony, the skies changed from a bright blue to a moody, dark shade of gray. The rain was heavy and the winds were strong. Guests hid inside of the main house while the wind toppled outdoor decorations and the rain soaked the grass. After a bit of time, the couple asked everyone to crowd together on the porch of the house. Grasping hands, they stood in front of one another and cried while exchanging vows. Members of the bridal party wiped away tears and just like that – the sky cleared and the sun came out.
A rainbow appeared in the valley beside the mountain we were on. The couple held each other and soaked in the gift from mother nature just minutes after saying I Do.
Later, guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn as the sky turned orange. It was easily one of the most beautiful sunsets I’d ever witnessed – with the brightest shades of orange, yellow, and pink filling the sky.
Once the sky became dark and dinner had finished, loved ones gave toasts honoring the newlyweds before piling onto the dance floor for a wild set by a live band from California.
