Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer : Brittany + Matthew

The weather was so nice all morning and early afternoon. Warm with a breeze and a light sprinkle. Nearly perfect for a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a gazebo in the center of town. But as we made our way from the first look to the reception location to gather up the rest of the wedding party, Mother Nature decided to not be so kind. It began to pour and there were no signs of it stopping.

They waited as long as possible before making the tough decision to move the ceremony to the reception building. The ladies hid in the bathroom, away from arriving guests as the guys perfected the new details. And as soon as the string quartet began to play, it all felt so perfect – as if it was meant to happen that way all along.

I first met Brittany and Matt early last summer during their engagement session. (See: Brittany + Matthew at Hartwood Acres) They were young, sweet and so very clearly meant to be together. I had been looking forward to their wedding day for a solid year because of that. It was everything I expected and more. The love between these two just radiates off of them and you just can’t help but smile when you see them together.
